BSI Marine Equipment Group has acquired Danish control systems company Lyngaa Marine.
Per Christiansen, who acquired Lyngaa Marine in 2008, will remain as general manager.
Lyngaa Marine is a maritime technology company that creates alarms and control systems for superyachts, commercial marine, fishing boats and large ship sectors.
The alarm and controls range from override systems for a small fishing vessel to more complex control systems for workboats, ferries, superyachts and large supply ships.
“The Group has worked closely with Lyngaa Marine for several years using their excellent controls in both Hundested and Ocean Marine Systems (OMS) propulsion and thruster deliveries,” said Mark Barwell, chief commercial officer for the BSI Marine Equipment Group.
I look forward to continuing the business in the same spirit as we always have done.
