Boot Holland 2026 cancelled

Organisers of Boot Holland, the Netherland’s only indoor watersports fair, have cancelled the event for a second year running.

The 2025 event was originally set to have taken place in March, however organisers cancelled that event in consultation with various stakeholders.

Now, the organisers say that the forthcoming Boot Holland will also not take place citing lack of exhibitors.

The event was due to have taken place in March 2026.

Number of registrations

In a statement organisers say: “We’ve been working hard on a new edition over the past few months, but unfortunately, we have to announce that Boot Holland 2026 will not take place.

“After careful analysis, it appears that the number of registrations is insufficient to offer the quality you, as a visitor, can expect from us.”

The statement concluded: “We would like to thank you for the commitment and trust you have placed in us over the years.”

The cancellation follows on from a number of other boat shows that have been cancelled over the last few months including the Paris Boat Show, the UK’s BoatLife, the Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show, and the Gothenburg Boat Show which has closed permanently after 65 years.
