Arksen has revealed the Arksen 55, a new adventure yacht that made its digital debut during Monaco Yacht Show. Hull one is nearing the end of construction and is due to be completed by the end of 2026.
The aluminium model has been developed for self-driven, experience-led use, with features including a bow ramp, equipment rack, four-door layout and dual side walkways.
Arksen says the arrangement is intended to support activities ranging from snorkelling and diving to carrying kayaks, research equipment or motorcycles.
The Arksen 55 is designed for a range of 350 nautical miles at 25 to 30 knots, with a light-load sprint speed of 50 knots.
Opening side windows and a 90-degree aft window connect the saloon and deck, while the full-beam pilothouse combines navigation, dining and raised seating on the main deck.
Exceptional speed
Designed by Jarkko Jämsén, engineered by Arksen and Aivan, and built by Finnish yard Kewatec, the boat is constructed using marine-grade aluminium and is engineered to comply with ISO 12215.
Its double-stepped deep-V hull is paired with full-length integrated fenders for protection during active use.
Below deck, the layout includes accommodation for up to eight people, with flexible single or shared berths, a forward double cabin with private bathroom, aft cabin options, a day head and a utility area combining galley, workshop, modular storage, drying cabinet, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher.
