Alera Marine Group has broken ground on a new 200,000sqft facility in Elkhart, Indiana, weeks after revealing its first pontoon model.
The manufacturing headquarters will be Alera’s central hub and will enable production to be completed under one roof from beginning to end.
The facility will also be used as warehousing for the company’s materials and supplies.
Once up and running, Alera Marine expects the new 46-acre facility will help generate up to 400 jobs for the local economy.
In addition to housing Alera Marine’s production, the site will include a showroom and in-house digital studio, that will be used to present dealers and customers with video, photography, and virtual tours of the craft.

The site will also include a private on-site testing site for developing and showcasing products and is expected to be operational by the first quarter of 2026.
The facility is the first of two planned by Alera Marina – construction on a second production building is planned to start in 2027.
Alera Marine was founded by Coley Brady, who serves as the company CEO, alongside general manager Jordan Kistler and vice president of marketing Joe Mehl.
The company’s first model is its M 23Q Pontoon prototype that was launched in July 2025 and is set to make its public debut in weeks.
Admired in a showroom
The Model M, is a reflection of everything the company believes in, explained Joe, designed to last, perform, and be enjoyed — not just admired in a showroom.
“The Alera Era represents a wave of energy,” he said.
“It’s about building something with presence—something that turns heads and makes people feel like they’re part of something bigger.
Launching a movement
“We’re not just launching a boat. We’re launching a movement. It’s a vibe. And yeah… we’re doing it all with a little swagger.”
The Model M pontoon will initially be available in several versions, the M 23L, M 23Q, M 25L and M 25Q.
The M 23 craft is rated for up to 14 passengers, with the M 23 version having a length overall of 27ft 6in and the M 23 versions having a 25ft 6in length overall.
All models have an 8ft 6in beam with propulsion via Mercury engines.
