Highfield Boats is extending its partnership with a French events company to support two further major yacht races.
Highfield is also the official supporter of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and will provide 92 semi-rigid boats for the opening ceremony and sailing events.
From 2025, the La Transat Paprec and Tour de Belle-Île teams will benefit from the support of Highfield to ensure safety on the water.
Highfield has also renewed its support for La Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe for a third edition meaning in 2026, the organisers will be able to count on a fleet of 64 units for management of the event on the water.
“We supported the OC Sport Pen Duick team on the 2018 and 2022 editions of the Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe as official partner,” said Julien Carussi co-founder, co-owner and CEO of Highfield Boats.
“We are delighted to renew this partnership for the 2026 edition and to commit to two other emblematic offshore racing events: the Transat Paprec and the Tour de Belle-île.
“We share with the sailors participating in these prestigious races the same passion for adventure, and the same taste for surpassing oneself. This commitment aligns perfectly with our brand values.”
La Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe race will see around 100 boats taking part, with Highfield providing its semi-rigid boats at the race start and also to welcome the arrival of the competitors at the race village.
“The start of a transatlantic race involving more than 100 boats is a very special exercise which requires to be able to rely on a logistics partner,” said Francis Le Goff, race director.
“The Highfield teams know this exercise as well as we do, and it is obviously a real plus to know that our collaboration will continue for the next edition with the provision of a fleet of 64 semi-rigids. We have confidence with them.”
