Boat club operator Freedom Boat Club has acquired the South Florida franchise operations and territory.
The acquisition adds 13 corporate locations to the Freedom Boat Club portfolio from Pompano Beach to Stuart, Florida, with the rights to expand throughout the Southeast Florida coastline.
The new locations are adjacent to Freedom’s already established corporate locations in Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Islamorada, with the acquisition seen as an opportunity to increase operational efficiencies.

The South Florida operation was established in 2014 under its previous owner Dan Lund. Under Dan’s leadership, the Club was recognised for its ‘Top Franchise New Member Growth’ and has won The Best of Palm Beach County award for the last five years.

Brunswick acquired Freedom Boat Club in 2019 and since then, the Company has experienced grown from 170 locations to more than 415 locations worldwide across North America, Europe, and Australia.
