Flexiteek collaborates with De Antonio Yachts

Teams from Flexiteek in Poland and Sweden have collaborated to create a new deck for the De Antonio E23 Terramar electric boat.

The catamaran – a team effort De Antonio Yachts’ design team working with the CUPRA Design House – is the boatbuilder’s first 100% electric boat, inspired by the new CUPRA Terramar electrified sports SUV.

The deck includes CNC logos for both Cupra and De Antonio cut into the Flexiteek grey with black caulking.

“We are excited to have been asked to collaborate on the new E23 from De Antonio,” said Tomas Gustafsson, Flexiteek CEO. “Our teams in Fagersta, Sweden and at Flexiteek Marine Products (FMP) in Poland have worked really hard together.”

The catamaran measures 7.2m overall length and is 2.23m wide with an eight-person capacity.

Foils integrated between the hulls of the E23 Terramar provide additional lift by reducing friction when moving forward and extending its range.

A top speed of up to 30 knots at maximum power is achieved with 50kW of power and a 40kWh battery capacity.

The exterior design has special paint finishes based on Enceladus Grey Matte, copper technology accents and iconic CUPRA graphics and elements.

The E23 model is the official electric boat of the America’s Cup in Barcelona.
