DSM Group was established in 1982 and supplies trade customers with a vast range of products including ropes, loadstraps, twines and slings.

Products are distributed throughout the world from our UK factories in Mirfield, Stourport-on-Severn, and Ipswich.

Kingfisher Yacht Ropes is DSM Group’s own brand of high performance sailing ropes and equipment. Kingfisher’s ropes have been used on many of the world’s leading racing yachts and dinghies.

By keeping large stocks of our products, DSM is able to complete orders quickly and efficiently.

DSM Group has more than over 40 years’ experience distributing fibre ropes and has established relationships with large quality suppliers in Europe, DSM soon gained a reputation for high quality ropes. Many of these relationships still continue today, allowing our products to remain consistent.

Early in 2002 saw the birth of Kingfisher Yacht Ropes which has quickly become one of the most recognisable names for ropes within the recreational marine market.

We now have more than 300 international partners and stockists across the globe.

Sailing ropes

Kingfisher Yacht Ropes was established as a brand in 2002 when DSM Group added yacht ropes to its extensive range of rope and rope related products. Kingfisher has developed into one of the most recognised names for ropes throughout sailing industry.

Superyacht ropes

We have vast range of ropes and lines for Superyachts of all sizes and types and their associated accessories and ancillary equipment.

Working closely with our established and respected partners we can advise and supply all types of ropes and lines in a variety of constructions and materials for Superyachts – from mooring and towing systems, to lines for tenders and support vessels; from anchor snubbers, to approved fibre crane and gantry cables.

Commercial marine ropes and lines

Ropes and lines for Commercial Marine vessels of all sizes and types, from the smallest coaster to the largest supertanker or ocean liner. Working closely with our established and respected partners we can advise and supply all types of commercial ropes and lines in a variety of constructions and materials – from flag halyards and general-purpose ropes to complete mooring and towing systems.

Watersports ropes and lines

Ropes for all forms of watersports as well as our renowned Kingfisher Yacht Ropes range. As well as all forms of yachting and sailing ropes, we supply many different rope constructions and materials to other watersport activities. Lines for windsurfing, extreme kite surfing, kayaking and many other watersports are available.
