Actisense opens Australian warehouse

Marine electronics interconnectivity manufacturer Actisense has opened a new warehouse on Australia’s Gold Coast, aimed at strengthening support for the country’s boating and commercial marine sectors and improving availability for customers across the region.

The new facility will complement Actisense’s approach of working through partners, with products continuing to be supplied to the Australian market via distribution partners JN Taylor and Southern Seas Marine, as well as directly through the new Australian warehouse.

“Australia has one of the most passionate and technically demanding marine communities in the world,” said Justin Cohen, commercial director at Actisense.

Long-term commitment

“By placing stock closer to customers and working hand in glove with JN Taylor and Southern Seas Marine, we’re making it even easier for boatbuilders, installers and operators.”

He continued: “This investment underlines our long-term commitment to the Australian market, from recreational boating to commercial fleets.”

Beyond product availability, Actisense has developed its Actisense Hub, a free learning platform offering videos and eBooks covering marine electronics interconnectivity best practices.

Actisense is a brand of Active Research and designs and manufactures marine electronics that make vessel data reliable, accessible and useful.
