Transfluid and Bellmarine are delivering their 1000th electric motor, destined for E-ship in the Netherlands.
The milestone represents a key step in the company’s commitment to decarbonising the maritime sector and deploying sustainable mobility solutions.
The motor chosen for E-ship is the TorqueMaster, one of Bellmarine’s most advanced systems.
The DNV certified marine electric motor is designed for different vessel sizes and applications.
It uses permanent magnet motors with an aluminium mechanical gearbox and offers various gear ratio configurations, for integration with any type of propeller.
Energy regeneration
It is available with air or liquid cooling, and also in a U drive version.
The TorqueMaster power ranges from 20kW to 130kW and the system allows energy regeneration during propeller drive, making it suitable for sailing boats.
A complete system combining Bellmarine’s innovation with Transfluid’s engineering will be installed on the E-ship.
