Besenzoni has launched its new Atelier division, following the acquisition of Tappezzeria Patelli and its incorporation into the organisation.
Tappezzeria Patelli was founded almost 70 years ago, and over the years has grown from being a local manufacturer and now has an international portfolio of clients, producing accessories for both yachts and classic sailing boats.
Besenzoni designs and produces accessories for boats and yachts, including its pilot seats.
With the opening of the new Atelier division, the décor will also be tailor-made according to specific customer requests and needs, through a tailoring process that combines mass production with individual items created by the synergy between designers and end users.
Innovative technologies
“The incorporation of Tappezzeria Patelli and the creation of a special Atelier division is a choice that stems from our desire to maintain a high level of quality and a broad portfolio of products by developing innovative technologies, digitising processes and improving our corporate governance,” said Giorgio Besenzoni, the company’s CEO.
“The customisation of the products, thanks to our careful supervision and the work of expert upholsterers, will also enable us to create more unique and special products, using exclusive patterns and materials if requested by the owners.”
Other Besenzoni divisions include Unica – Unique Yachts Accessories, which develops customised and tailor-made solutions for superyachts; Be Electric which develops and manufactures products with a reduced environmental impact; and the Customer Service Division.
