Arc boats has moved into its new 150,000sqft factory in Los Angeles.
The company began building electric boats in 2021 in an 8,000sqft warehouse and says the move is a testament to its long-term commitment to electrifying the marine industry.
Since its founding, it has delivered its Arc One to customers, secured more than $100 million in funding, and grown the company from three employees to more than 80 with this number set to double by the end of 2024.
The new HQ will help the boatbuilder scale production and produce its first mass-market boat early in 2024.
Advanced watercraft
“In the first two years since we embarked on a journey to electrify the world of boating, we successfully designed, manufactured, tested, and brought to market the most advanced electric watercraft available today — the limited-edition Arc One,” said a company spokesperson.
“Our next move is to target the booming water sports market, and we’re now charged to do it.”
The spokesperson added: “As we look to the future, we’re laser-focused on developing the next wave of high-performance electric boats and scaling our operations to meet the demand. In the process, we’ll make boating more enjoyable, cost-effective, and sustainable.”
The move to the new HQ follows on from the closing of a Series B $70 million funding round.
