Apreamare launches largest yacht to date

Apreamare has launched its largest vessel to date – the new flagship Maestro 88 – in a private ceremony.

The Maestro 88 represented a new challenge for the Sorrentine shipyard, for the architect Marco Casali and for the engineer Umberto Tagliavini.

“We celebrated a dream come true, thanks to an owner who truly believes in us. A special thanks to all the collaborators who have accompanied us in our journey of constant growth, which has brought us to experience this joyful emotion during the launch ceremony, full of pride for the creation of the Maestro 88,” comments Rita Pollio, CEO of Apreamare.

The vessel is custom-built vessel with a semi-planning hull designed to maintain the family feeling of the previous Maestro line while introducing stylistic and functional innovations.

The launch of this boat represents a fundamental milestone.

“To realise the Maestro 88, we involved our entire supply chain of suppliers and artisans from Campania, the same ones who have supported the growth of Apreamare since the beginning,” said Apreamare president Cataldo Aprea.

“The launch of this boat represents a fundamental milestone. I cannot help but express my gratitude to all the workers and suppliers who have made this magnificent project possible.”

The Maestro 88 is 27.1m in length and 7m wide with a draft of 1.8m and a displacement at full load of 90 tons.

The yacht is powered by two 1,650hp MAN engines, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 22 knots and a range of 1,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots.

Living areas include a large beach club and a long sliding glass window on the main deck.

On the flybridge, there is a relaxation area, a galley with a wet-bar and solar panels.

The interiors are customisable, available in configurations of up to four cabins with space for entertainment, all aimed at a superior quality of life on board, especially for long-range cruises.
