£1.5 million redevelopment for Hampshire marina

Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour boatshed is to undergo a £1.5 million redevelopment.

The investment follows on from a £2.5 million reconfiguration and extension of the marina itself by owners Beaulieu Enterprises.

The latest phase of works includes planned upgrades to provide new waterfront offices, workshop units and meeting rooms.

“The redevelopment of the boatshed will create spaces with panoramic views across the Beaulieu River, which will make ideal offices and meeting rooms for marine businesses to relocate,” said Beaulieu Enterprises MD Russell Bowman.

“After recently celebrating 50 years of Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour, this is our exciting next phase to ensure that we provide the best facilities to match our services and take us forward into the next chapter.”

Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour was recently awarded a 5 Gold Anchor winner by The Yacht Harbour Association, placing in the top 5% of winners and scoring 95.06%.

The yacht harbour has undergone a continuous programme of development with luxury facilities built as part of recent upgrades.

Earlier in 2024, there was a £125,000 investment in new cradles. Other improvements include the installation of environmentally friendly boat pump-out and washdown facilities

More than 10,000 visitors stay at the yacht harbour each year.
