Arc Boats launches reimagined centre console model

Arc Boat Company has launched its newest model, the Arc Coast, a 24ft all-electric center console, billed as a modern take on the classic centre console.

The Los Angeles-based electric boat company has redesigned the helm, replacing individual switches and gauges with navigation, diagnostics, and entertainment placed in one intuitive touchscreen, with over-the-air software updates.

An open deck layout seats ten and can be adapted to different requirements.

The electric motor powers a compact sterndrive, opening up the transom for a full-beam swim platform and sunpad, providing more usable space at the waterline.

“People love center consoles, but the experience hasn’t improved,” said Mitch Lee, co-founder and CEO of Arc.

Electric performance

“The Arc Coast is what you get when you start from scratch: all the benefits of quiet and powerful electric performance, powered by advanced software, and paired with an ownership experience free from many of the headaches common with today’s gas boats.”

The Arc Coast is powered by the same high-voltage battery system used in the Arc Sport.

“By reusing its proven electric platform and building every major system in-house, Arc is bringing the Coast from concept to production in under a year — a pace virtually unheard of in the electric vehicle space,” added an Arc spokesperson.

“The vertically integrated approach gives Arc the ability to deliver modern design and exhilarating performance at a competitive price.”

The Arc Coast adds to Arc’s existing electric vessels including the Arc One and Arc Sport.

Arc Boat Company was founded in 2021 as a venture-backed start-up. The company entered the electric wake boat mass market in 2024 with the launch of the Arc Sport.
