Barton Marine is introducing the new HB1 Continuous Line Furler to its deck equipment range for 2025.
The furler is designed to provide optimum performance for dinghies and small yachts in even the most challenging conditions.
Features of the new product include a robust and lightweight design and the introduction of hybrid-bearing technology for the first time.
The furler’s durable central shaft is manufactured from high grade 316 stainless steel and the main chassis and fork from anodised 6061 aluminium for strength and durability.
A combination of solid-state and Torlon ball bearings have been incorporated to ensure the furling wheel remains balanced and spins freely even under high loads.
The furler weighs 175g, and has a safe working load of 600kg (1320oz).
It is suitable for a 4mm (3/16in) to 6mm (1/4in) furling line with toolless rope insertion enabling easy installation with no parts lost on deck.
The new HB1 Continuous Line Furler will be on display on Barton Marine’s stand at the RYA Dinghy and Watersports Show which takes place from 22 – 23 February 2025, with the product available from April 2025.
