Lomac Milano is to launch a new RIB customisation service for its range.
Lomac Atelier powered by D-Factory will be unveiled at boot Düsseldorf 2025, and will bring together Lomac’s experience in high-performance boat manufacturing and D-Factory’s skills in bespoke design and surface finishing.
The companies say it will open a new chapter in tailored luxury for boating enthusiasts.
Central to the announcement is the debut of the Odyssey, a show-RIB based on Lomac’s Adrenalina 8.5 model.
The Odyssey’s design is inspired by Penelope from Greek mythology, and is aimed at serving as a creative provocation, encouraging visitors to imagine how far their ideas can shape their own vessels.
Lomac Atelier will allows clients to personalise nearly every element of their RIBs, from tube colors to dashboard finishes and from upholstery textures to T-top, seats and handrails.
Personalisation
D-Factory is known for its automotive design and is an official partner of Audi and Porsche. The company will offer wraps and regenerative Paint Protection Film (PPF) from 3M that will protect fiberglass surfaces from UV rays and wear and enhance durability.
D-Factory will also provide upholstery customisation, incorporating designs, shapes, and stitching aimed at adding refinement to interiors.
The partnership signals a shift in the boating sector, introducing a level of personalisation traditionally associated with luxury cars, explained a spokesperson from Lomac.
“The synergy between Lomac Milano and D-Factory promises to redefine the standards of customisation in the boating sector,” said the spokesperson.
“Customers can now expect tailored solutions that blend cutting-edge technology with exquisite design, making each vessel a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.”
