Azimut Yachts is strengthening its presence in the Greek market with a partnership with AZ Yachting Hellas SA.
The new company is set to represent another step in Azimut’s strategy of aiming to offer shipowners a complete, reliable and cutting-edge service.
AZ Yachting Hellas SA, based in Athens, was founded to combine expertise and experience to meet increasingly demanding clientele.
The company’s founding members include Marios lordanou, Azimut dealer for Cyprus and Lebanon for more tha n 15 years, and Christos Ramnialis, who has held positions of responsibility at Benetti – another brand of the Azimut|Benetti Group – and companies such as mtu.
The new team can offer a range of services from sales to management and after-sales assistance.
“Greece is one of the main markets for yachting in the Mediterranean, a preferred destination for yacht owners from all over the world, especially during the summer season,” said Enrico Chiaussa, chief commercial officer EMEA APAC of Azimut.
“Through our collaboration with AZ Yachting Hellas, we aim to continue the path taken with First Quality Yachts, to whom we extend our gratitude, and further strengthen our presence in the area.”
Azimut produces yachts from 13 to 44 meters.
