The Italian answer to METSTRADE has been announced with a new B2B marine trade show to take place in Milan.
The inaugural edition of Seaquip, the Mediterranean Yacht & Marine Equipment Trade Fair, will be held from March 4 – 6 2026 at the Fiera Milano Rho showcasing a range of accessories and components.
The show will be organised by the EasyFairs Group which is one of the world’s top 20 trade fair organisers.
The early Spring date has been chosen to maximise attendance and engagement from the industry and an international audience.
Organisers also say the location is advantageous with Milan chosen due to it being considered the financial capital of Italy, one of the most highly productive yacht and superyacht building countries of the world.
The Fiera Milano offers 5-15,000sqm of exhibition space and is conveniently located, a short walk from train stations and near two major international airports, making it easy for industry professionals from across Europe to attend.
“The goal of the project is to launch an event that allows the European nautical market to meet in Italy, a leading country in this sector,” explained Pierpaolo Ponchia, MD of Easyfairs Italia.
“Milan in particular, emerges as the economic centre of the country and a strategic city, both because of its accessibility and its ability to attract professionals and investors from all over Europe.”
More than 150 exhibitors have already expressed interest in the exhibition which is also anticipated to include a wide-ranging conference programme featuring talks on new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, alternative propulsion and new materials.
The event is intended to be a B2B meeting point where business relationships can be forged and innovations that will determine the future of the industry can be discovered, added Pierpaolo.
“At Easyfairs group, which manages over 100 B2B trade fairs in Europe, we have the know-how to create an event that will meet the industry’s needs right from the very first year, offering highly qualified networking opportunities,” concluded Pierpaolo.
