Performance-luxury yacht builder and manufacturer of the AC40 for the America’s Cup, McConaghy Boats has partnered with marine electric systems company Integrel Solutions.
The collaboration aims to equip McConaghy’s vessels with advanced, efficient 48V electronic marine systems, starting with the MC75 performance-luxury catamaran.
McConaghy has been producing boats for more than five decades and is known for iconic super maxis such as Alfa Romeo, Black Jack and Wild Oats XI.
Integrel Solutions has developed its 48V E-Power system, which improves fuel efficiency by up to 25% and offers a fully automatic, integrated package for power generation, storage, conversion, and distribution.

The Integrel E-Drive is due to launch later this year offering electric-hybrid propulsion and power generation, while reducing emissions and dependence on traditional fuel-consuming engines and generators.
Both Integrel E-Power and Integrel E-Drive are designed to be lightweight and reliable, reducing a vessel’s fuel consumption and providing a sustainable energy solution.
Other key features of Integrel’s 48V technology include a lightweight construction to decrease the size and weight of the electrical components, and fully automatic operation with user-friendly interfaces, providing detailed energy management information.

The MC75 is the first model to be fitted with a dual system Integrel E-Power which will deiver up to 18kW of onboard power, with plans to extend the 48V system to additional models in the future.
