Superyacht Technology Network (SYT Network) has announced a major expansion of its Superyacht Technology Show for 2025.
A new Hybrid & Electric Zone will see up to 35 yachts based in a custom dock at Barcelona’s Marina Port Vell adjacent to the main show taking place at the World Trade Centre.
The new show-within-a-show will highlight advances in alternative fuel and sustainable energy solutions by showcasing the latest technology in action aboard the exhibiting vessels.
The dedicated space will enhance and complement the extensive systems technology on show in the World Trade Centre and provide a platform for the superyacht builders and supporting industries who are incorporating innovative hybrid and electric developments in new projects.
The new zone will be accessed by EV cars and electric tenders on water to compliment the hybrid and electric theme.
The addition has been enabled after major shareholder Will Faimatea put in additional investment.
“We have been discussing the development of sustainable power systems with superyacht builders, designers and project managers from all the leading companies around the world, explained director of SYT Network Jack Robinson. “They have been unanimous in their desire to separate technology and brokerage at shows in the future to allow them to focus more on the yacht buyers.”
He added: “In response, our 2025 event will be unique in reflecting that demand. Our goal is to be a key influencer in the changing landscape of superyacht and hybrid technology.”
General manager of Marina Port Vell, Ignacio Erroz, commented: “This will be the first show of its kind to focus purely on the many technologies required to sustainably manage the modern superyachts of the future.

The fourth edition of the Superyacht Technology Show will be held in Barcelona World Trade Centre and Marina Port Vell on March 18 and 19 2025.
