Princess appoints first Georgian distributor

Princess Yachts has appointed Crystal Yachts Georgia LLC as its first official distributor in Georgia, extending its sales and service network into the Black Sea market as investment in Batumi’s waterfront infrastructure supports the city’s yachting sector.

Based in Batumi, the distributor will represent the British manufacturer’s full range and provide sales, aftersales support and owner services throughout Georgia. The company’s  waterfront office opened this summer.

Princess says the appointment forms part of its expansion into strategic international markets and emerging yachting destinations.

The company cited recent marina development in Batumi and investment in coastal tourism as factors supporting its entry into the country.

Luxury sector

“The appointment of Crystal Yachts Georgia is an exciting milestone for Princess Yachts as we continue to strengthen our global distributor network,” said Thomas Richardson, regional sales director at Princess Yachts.

“Having recently visited the country, I was impressed by both the quality of Batumi’s marina developments and the ambition of the leadership team at Crystal Yachts, demonstrated by the opening of their well-positioned waterfront office this summer.”

Crystal Yachts Georgia is led by managing director Aslan Nakashidze, whose background is in the luxury sector, alongside founder Sulkhan Lominadze.

“With growing interest in the yachting lifestyle, continued investment in tourism and coastal infrastructure, and Georgia’s prime location on the Black Sea, the market presents a compelling opportunity for the introduction of Princess Yachts,” said Nakashidze.
