ISA presents 55-knot GTO 70

ISA Yachts has presented its new GTO 70, a carbon-fibre motor yacht with a top speed of 50 knots using twin 1,800hp MAN V12 engines, rising to 55 knots with optional 2,000hp engines.

The Palumbo Superyachts brand has developed the model with Galeazzi Design, which is responsible for its exterior and interiors.

The new yacht has an overall length of 21.5 metres, a beam of 6.5 metres and a maximum draught of 1.2 metres.

Both engine configurations use ASD Arneson surface-drive propulsion. ISA lists cruising speeds of 43 knots for the standard installation and 48 knots for the higher-powered version.

The planing hull was developed by ISA’s naval engineering team using computational fluid dynamics studies. Carbon-fibre construction in the hull and superstructure reduces weight, supporting acceleration and handling.

Continuous exterior surfaces

Galeazzi’s design uses a low profile and continuous exterior surfaces, finished in Ice Blue Metallic. A multifunction stern platform combines the passerelle and swim ladder, while the helm integrates navigation and monitoring systems.

Accommodation comprises three en-suite guest cabins: an owner’s cabin forward, a twin cabin amidships and a VIP cabin aft. A separate cabin houses up to two crew members, and the below-deck galley is separated from the guest area. Interior finishes include beige and white tones with nubuck leather upholstery.

The yard describes the engineering objective as ‘turning power into control’.

The model extends ISA’s performance-yacht range, following earlier designs including the ISA 120ft Sport.

The company announced the GTO 70 sale in December 2025 to an existing customer seeking a smaller yacht to operate alongside a megayacht, with delivery then scheduled for summer 2026.
