Riva has presented its largest yacht to date, the 54Metri, at Monaco Yacht Show 2026. The all-aluminium superyacht measures 54.83 metres overall, has a maximum beam of 9.18 metres and remains below the 500GT threshold at 499GT.
The new flagship was designed by Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, working with Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department. The project continues a design partnership that has covered Riva’s range for the past 30 years.
The exterior combines a low, streamlined profile with sculpted surfaces, metallic finishes and polished steel detailing. Its proportions and colour treatment follow established Riva styling while moving the brand into a larger yacht category.
Contemporary arrangement
Connection with the water is central to the layout. Full-height glazing provides broad views from the interior, while outdoor areas are distributed across the yacht. Fold-out bulwarks increase the usable space around the beach area and cockpit, creating terraces close to the water.
Interior materials include natural teak, Sahara Noir marble from Tunisia, Bianco Rhino marble from Africa and leather detailing. The specification is intended to combine Riva’s established material palette with a contemporary arrangement of indoor and outdoor living spaces.
The yacht is powered by two MTU 12V2000-M96L engines and has a reported top speed of 18 knots. Riva says the project draws on the engineering and construction capability of its Superyacht Division in Ancona.
The 54Metri extends Riva’s product range into the large-superyacht sector while retaining the brand’s focus on aluminium construction, exterior detailing and continuity between accommodation and open deck areas.
The debut establishes a new size benchmark for the brand within Ferretti Group’s superyacht portfolio.
