Vann Knight has been promoted to the position of president of World Cat boats, replacing Andrew Brown as he transfers to the role of chief executive officer after spending more than 29 years as company president.
Vann joined World Cat in 2018 and most recently served as the company’s chief operating officer.
He will oversee the day-to-day operations, including manufacturing, engineering, finance and customer experience, ensuring the continued delivery of the innovation, quality, and service.
“I am excited about this opportunity, the teams we have built, and for the future of World Cat,” said Vann.
“We are eager to support Andrew Brown in his new role as CEO.”

World Cat is headquartered in Tarboro, North Carolina, with an additional production facility in Greenville, NC.
The company manufactures outboard-powered centre and dual console catamaran models ranging from 23ft to 40ft.
