LiTime, LiFePO₄ power solutions developer, is to launch of a new range of electric outboard motors, marking its expansion into the propulsion market.
The Argoseeker electric outboard motors are designed for kayaks, canoes, and paddle craft, and will work with LiTime’s LiFePO4 batteries to integrate motor, controller, and battery systems into a marine power solution.
The first two models include the Argoseeker A1 (24V 700W) designed for kayaks, canoes, and lightweight small craft.
The motor delivers 60lbs of thrust, comparable to an approximately 2hp fuel-powered outboard, with speeds of 7–10km/h at around 150kg total boat weight.
Electric alternative
The outboard pairs with LiTime 24V LiFePO4 battery solutions, including 50Ah and 100Ah options.
The second model is the Argoseeker A2 (48V 2000W) designed for larger small boats.
The A2 delivers 120lbs of thrust, comparable to an approximately 5hp fuel-powered outboard, with speeds of 12–15km/h at around 300kg total boat weight.
It pairs with LiTime 48V LiFePO4 battery systems, providing a powerful electric alternative to low-horsepower fuel-powered outboards.
The motors have wireless remote control, and cruise control capability.
