New Dutch yacht brand Seaver Yachts has unveiled its first range of yachts spanning from 20- to 30-metres, alongside an offering of a new ownership model.
The brand was founded by Simon Schilder and Mike Verweij alongside designer Bernd Weel and project lead Julian van Santen.
The new brand was conceived to relaunch a selection of Bernd Weel’s original yacht designs under the Seaver name, with Weel Sluijter Studio, co-founded in 2024 by Bernd Weel and Jim Sluijter, the creative force behind the Seaver range.
There will be an initial line-up of five yachts across two model lines: the Nordic 65 and 80, alongside the Azure 65, 80 and 95.
Future models will be constructed at Dutch shipyard, Altena Yachting.
Two ranges
The two ranges have been developed with different cruising styles in mind.
The Nordic line, comprising 20- and 24-metre models, is tailored towards colder climates and extended stays onboard.
The yachts are designed to create a residential feel at sea, with the interior embracing a villa-style design featuring expansive glazing and generous headroom. There is also a retractable sunroof draws for the yacht’s living spaces.
The Azure range, with 24 metres with 29- and 20-metre editions currently underway, has been conceived for Mediterranean-style cruising, placing greater emphasis on outdoor living.
The yacht features flybridges and exterior layouts arranged around lounging, dining and socialising, alongside shaded and open-air spaces distributed across the decks.
Aluminium hulls
Across both ranges, Seaver yachts will be constructed with lightweight aluminium hulls, incorporating a hydraulic tender platform and a full-beam watersports garage.
Each vessel’s layout is configurable for either owner-operator use or a fully crewed operation.
“Our approach is driven by purity and creativity,” explained Weel.
“We aim to distill each concept to its most essential elements –never overdesigned, though always distinctive for each project.”
The shipyard says that rather than operating as a traditional shipyard, it aims to be a partner, to support clients from concept through construction, delivery and into an exclusive ownership collective.
