Palm Beach Motor Yachts has launched its first Palm Beach GT50 RS outboard powered yacht.
The yacht is powered by four Mercury 500R V8 outboards producing a combined 2,000hp and giving a speed of 50 knots.
The model was developed through client demand and has been designed for an experienced yachtsman seeking high-speed coastal commuting and cruising capability.
Features of the GT50 RS include large opening windows and a sunroof and a helm and salon that can be enclosed.
While performance was central to the GT50 RS experience, attention was also given to comfort and life aboard, with a seamless flow between the cockpit, salon, galley and forward cabin.
High-performance automotive design inspiration
The interior is inspired by high-performance automotive design and incorporates carbon fibre accents, Alcantara fabric finishes and precision crafted detailing throughout the yacht.
These modern materials are balanced by Palm Beach Motor Yachts’ signature high-gloss teak joinery and handcrafted finish work.
Forward accommodations include a cabin with a king-size bed.
At the core of the GT50 RS is Palm Beach Motor Yachts’ proprietary V-Warp Technology.
The yacht is manufactured from lightweight carbon fibre, E-glass and vinylester, combined with fully infused monocoque engineering, constructed to give a rigid and lightweight structure capable of delivering sustained high-speed operation with stability.
Advancing technology
“The launch of the GT50 RS is another exciting new product and a strong sign of Palm Beach Motor Yachts going from strength to strength,” says Mark Richards, CEO and founder.
“As we continue expanding our global presence, advancing technology and introducing increasingly innovative yachts, we remain focused on delivering an ownership experience unlike anything else in the world.”
Additional GT RS models including GT60 RS and GT70 RS are currently under construction.
