The first Itama 70 has been launched from Ferretti Group’s new Marina di Ravenna shipyard.
The vessel has an overall length of 21.23 metres and a beam of 5.3 metres and is the result of collaboration between the Ferretti Group product strategy committee and the Group’s engineering department.
The exterior styling is by Vallicelli Design with the interiors by IdeaeItalia.
Itama 70 retains distinctive features of the brand, while also introducing style and design solutions focused on creating an even more engaging cruising experience.
Signature elements include a sunpad in the bow that has been integrated into the deck, and side windows that run the length of the hull, contributing to the yacht’s sleek silhouette and establishing a visual connection with the water.
Continuity between living areas
The main deck is designed to put an accent on socialising and comfort on board.
At the stern, the movable beach area can accommodate and launch a 3.25 metre tender, while the sunpad incorporates an integrated backrest that creates continuity between different living areas.
The U-shaped dining area is completed with a table with a teak top positioned opposite the wet bar, which can be converted into a chaise longue by adding a cushion, creating a setting for relaxation.
This area is shaded by an electric bimini top with integrated lighting.
The helm station is located on the port side and features a bench seat that can comfortably accommodate two people.
The console on this first unit features two 16-inch chartplotter touch displays, delivering technologically advanced and intuitive navigation control.
Liveability below deck
To maximise fluidity of movement around the boat, access to the bow area is through a passageway in the centre of the windscreen, while the entrance to the lower deck is on the far starboard side.
The layout features three cabins, including a master cabin aft, all with en suite bathrooms, as well as a corner galley and a dinette designed to enhance liveability below deck.
The first Itama 70 is fitted with the optional engine package of two MAN V12 units rated at 1,550hp which provide a top speed of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots (preliminary data).
The new Ferretti yacht is also equipped with a Seakeeper NG14 gyroscopic stabiliser.
