Marine electronics manufacturer Garmin has been selected as an official supplier by Luna Rossa, the Italian challenger for the 38th America’s Cup.
Garmin’s marine navigation, communication, mapping, lighting, digital switching and audio solutions will be installed on the team’s chase boats and used during both training and racing.
Garmin will be the official supplier for the team’s campaign leading up to the event that will take place in Naples, Italy in 2027, extending a collaboration which began several years’ ago.

Reliability and timing
“This marks another significant milestone in an ongoing collaboration that began several years ago that has enabled our brand to reach the pinnacle of sailing around the globe, all thanks to the exceptional performance of our products and our comprehensive services.”

As part of the partnership, Garmin will also support Luna Rossa team members with a wide range of its fitness products, all tracked individually for each athlete on the Garmin Connect platform.
