Flexiteek International has acquired its Danish distributor, bringing the business into the Flexiteek Group alongside its existing operations in the UK, USA, Sweden and Poland.
Flexiteek Denmark is a high-volume fabricator of synthetic decking with the acquisition set to add additional knowledge to Flexiteek’s fabrication and installation base.
As part of the acquisition, Mikkel Svendsen, MD of Flexiteek Denmark, Anders Bagger and their colleagues will join the Flexiteek Group.
“With Flexiteek now recognised by many leading OEMs as the best solution for appearance, longevity and sustainability, it was inevitable that we would continue to expand our fabrication capabilities and expertise,” said Adam Ramsden, Group CEO.
Long-standing relationship
“We are delighted to have been able to secure this partnership, as a step-change that sets foundations for the next phase of growth.”
The partnership marks the next step in a long-standing relationship between the two businesses, which have developed in parallel over the past two decades.
Svenden added: “Since the introduction of Flexiteek synthetic decking over 25 years ago, we have developed our skills and expertise, working side-by-side with our OEM customers to ensure the highest level of installation quality and design innovation.
“This is the next phase of development for Flexiteek and we are very happy to be part of the Group.”
Flexiteek manufactures a range of engineered synthetic decking and marine products.
