Lippert Components teams up with Continental Trailers

Lippert Components has announced a new supply arrangement with Continental Trailers to supply marine trailer axles across Continental’s trailer lineup.

Under the agreement, Lippert anticipates supplying American-built marine trailer axles for the approximately 10,000–12,000 trailers Continental produces annually.

Lippert manufactures and supplies axles across the RV, marine and utility trailer markets through a large-scale US manufacturing network combining advanced automation, robotic welding and precision machining.

“This relationship highlights the advantage of working with a manufacturer that has both the scale and engineering depth to support growing trailer builders,” said Bob Boone, vice president of utility towable sales at Lippert.

Partnering with an American manufacturer known for innovation and reliability was a natural step for us.

“We manufacture marine axles here in the United States and design them specifically for the conditions boat trailers face.

“That combination of domestic production, proven durability and engineering support makes us a strong partner for companies like Continental.”

Todd Finney, Continental president and CEO, added: “As we continue to grow our trailer lineup, partnering with an American manufacturer known for innovation and reliability was a natural step for us.

Partnership

Lippert brings the scale, engineering expertise, and premium quality we look for in a supplier.

“We’re excited to work together and see this partnership continue to grow in the years ahead.”

Continental Trailers, based in Miami, Florida, has been manufacturing trailers since 1975, and has a range of aluminium and galvanised units.

Lippert Components is a supplier of engineered components to the recreation and transportation markets.
