IGY Marinas and Costa Rica’s Marina Bahia Golfito have extended their agreement to further develop and promote the marina as a flagship destination for superyachts.
The extended agreement follows on from a long-term collaboration between the organisations.
The organisations point out that Marina Bahia Golfito lies in one of the most biodiverse and ecologically protected areas on the planet and offers superyacht guests access to rainforests, beaches and wildlife encounters while maintaining a commitment to environmental stewardship.
The companies want to encourage superyachts to use the marina as a base for expedition-style itineraries, eco-conscious travel and off-the-beaten-path cruising grounds.

The expansion also supports continued enhancements to marina infrastructure and services, including a natural pool, fitness centre and crew showers.
