A large fire at a Nashville, Tennessee marina has damaged at least 13 boats and a dock.
Nashville Fire Department crews were called to the blaze at Sun Life’s Elm Hill Marina on Percy Priest Lake on Tuesday morning and found a houseboat engulfed with heavy smoke and flames.
The vessel was docked in its slip and the fire had spread to several nearby boats, with the heaviest damage concentrated at the end of the dock where the fire began.

All the occupants of the affected vessels were evacuated and no injuries were reported.
The Nashville Fire Department was supported by two boats from Marine Operations and the Office of Emergency Management’s Marine 1 vessel which attacked the fire from the water while firefighters continued suppression efforts from the dock.
More than 1,000 feet of containment boom was used to control fuel and runoff from the damaged vessels.
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is now leading an investigation into the cause of the fire.
