Toronto International Boat Show (TIBS) has joined Informa’s boat show portfolio.
The move is designed to open new opportunities for the show while enhancing the value delivered to exhibitors and attendees.
In a letter to boat show exhibitors, Linda Waddell, president and show director, stated that the additional expertise and capabilities provided by Informa will help to take the show to new heights.
The show’s team, contractors and suppliers, will remain, with Waddell and show manager Cynthia Hare planning to continue working until after next year’s show at a minimum.
This change also provides Boating Ontario Association with a long-term partnership and continued collaboration with the Toronto International Boat Show.

“I do have retirement plans on the horizon, and this step is part of ensuring the Toronto Show is in excellent hands for the future.”
She added: “This change also provides Boating Ontario Association with a long-term partnership and continued collaboration with the Toronto International Boat Show.”

Ken McAvoy of Informa continued: “The Toronto International Boat Show is a remarkable event, and we look forward to building on its legacy with the show team, while creating new synergies across our portfolio.
“This is a great moment for us, as we enhance our ability to deliver world-class experiences to exhibitors and attendees across North America.”
