Vision Marine Technologies has announced its new flagship electric tritoon platform Specter, the next phase of the company’s product roadmap.
The tritoon is 26ft 6in model with a dual console and dual 10in touch screens and will be officially launched at the forthcoming Miami International Boat Show and the Montreal Boat and Watersports Show.
The tricoon has been engineered as a next-generation electric platform powered by Vision Marine’s proprietary E-Motion high-voltage electric propulsion system, featuring an integrated onboard charging architecture.
Vision Marine has incorporated advanced foiling technology developed in collaboration with Hydrofin, designed to lift and stabilise the tritoon hull at speed, improving efficiency, ride dynamics, and overall performance.
We are advancing our strategy of deploying electric technology in established, high-volume boating segments.

Features also include a fiberglass monocoque hull paired with a clean and modern interior layout, designed for a premium onboard environment.
“Specter reflects how we bring electric propulsion to market,” said Alexandre Mongeon, chief executive officer of Vision Marine.
“By introducing a platform designed around real-world boating conditions and supporting it through our retail and service network, we are advancing our strategy of deploying electric technology in established, high-volume boating segments.”
And he said the rationalle behind the new model is the sustained consumer interest in the pontoon and tricoon segment, with the market projected to continue to grow through to 2031.
Specter will be distributed and supported through Vision Marine’s network locations and through the company’s retail network Nautical Ventures.
