Princess Yachts unveils new S Class model

Princess Yachts has unveiled a series of launches at boot Düsseldorf: the latest addition to its S Class range; the launch of its new design service Signature by Princess; and the launch of Sea Ready, a new, all-encompassing service created to ensure every Princess yacht is equipped with the full suite of essentials required before heading to sea.

The latest addition to the British boatbuilder’s S Class range is the Princess S74, set to launch in 2027.

The S74 is an evolution of the S72, with enhanced exterior entertaining spaces and a refreshed interior aesthetic.

Features include full-length hull windows, complemented by an updated hull graphic to reinforce the yacht’s sporting intent.

Dining and socialising

A newly designed cockpit offers adaptable seating that can transform into a L-shaped lounge or two distinct social areas.

An integrated sunpad sits above the spacious tender garage, capable of accommodating a 3.9-metre tender launched via the electro-hydraulic bathing platform.

Forward, the foredeck terrace contains sunpads and fore-and-aft seating. Above, the sportbridge delivers views from the twin helm station and, with seating, folding tables and a wet bar with barbecue, provides a setting for dining and socialising.

The interior combines updated styling with new furnishings and refined textures and curated design pieces.

The main deck is conceived as a sophisticated social hub, shaped around multiple lounge and dining environments.

Advanced dual-station instrumentation

Guests can enjoy L-shaped and U-shaped seating arrangements, complemented by folding dining and coffee tables, while a sideboard incorporates bottle and glass storage, refrigeration and a 55-inch UHD LED television connected to a Naim audio system.

The helm station combines advanced dual-station instrumentation with fore-and-aft adjustable twin seats and a pantograph door to the starboard side deck.

A centrally positioned galley supports extended cruising with a comprehensive specification including a four-zone induction hob, combi oven, full-height fridge freezer, dishwasher and icemaker.

Below deck, the S74 can accommodate up to eight guests across four cabins.

Seemless, end-to-end service

Signature by Princess represents bespoke craftsmanship, personalisation and creative collaboration.

Princess has created the new team to simplify the client journey while elevating the way personalisation and bespoke requests are delivered.

The boatbuilder has joined two specialist departments that work closely together to provides owners with a seamless, end-to-end service to supports them from initial inspiration through to final execution.

The team is led by senior designer Michael Jones, who will work alongside principle creative designer Mary Hall.

“Signature allows us to focus entirely on what our customers imagine their yacht could be, and then push beyond that,” said Michael.

Considered, distinctive and unmistakably personal

“Whether it’s a subtle material change or a complete reconfiguration of space, our role is to turn ideas into reality and create something genuinely unique.”

Mary added: “Owners today want their yacht to feel unmistakably theirs. Through Signature, every yacht becomes a reflection of its owner. Considered, distinctive and unmistakably personal.

“We’re giving customers the freedom to express their individuality while maintaining the craftsmanship and refinement that define Princess.”

The new Sea Ready service will equip Princess yachts with safety equipment, communications systems, tenders, spare parts and premium water toys.
