World premier for Wellcraft new 28-foot models

Wellcraft has launched three new 28-foot models at boot Düsseldorf 2026: the Wellcraft 28 Speedster, the Wellcraft 28 T-Top, and the Wellcraft 28 Explorer.

Each shares the same hull design, while answering different needs: either with or without T-Top, or a fully protected wheelhouse and a choice of four aft cockpit configurations.

The lounge comes standard, able to accommode up to 13 people, including nine forward facing seats.

The Barracuda layout has a fold-up seating bench with live well, fish box, bait drawers, and various rod holding solutions.

Wellcraft Infujection Structure Engineering technology

Both the Wellcraft 28 T-Top and Wellcraft 28 Speedster have the option of the Relax layout with an aft cockpit layout arrangement incorporating a sunbed, hidden storage, and additional seating.

The Sleeper layout is exclusive to the Explorer, with two berths, combined with exterior lounging space.

Every model is built using Wellcraft Infujection Structure Engineering (W.I.S.E.) technology — an infusion/injection combination where the hull and stringers are molded as a single part.

The technology delivers a lighter, stiffer, and stronger structure with an optimised power-to-weight ratio and reduced environmental impact.

Confidence in all weathers

Wellcraft has partnered with Helsinki-based stepped hull specialist Navia to build the 28-foot line.

The hull design allows the boat to plane and accelerate faster, run drier, and handle rough seas.

A closed transom, high bulwarks, oversized handrails, rubrails, a dive door, and solid forward-facing seats, are built to inspire confidence in all weathers.

The one-level walkaround deck ensures seamless circulation, while the Wellcraft 28 T-Top further adapts to all conditions with a choice of High or Sport windshield options.

The Wellcraft 28 comes with either single or twin outboards and can exceed 50 knots.
