Federica Maggiani has been elected as national president of Italy’s CNA Nautica.
Fabrizio Forma, Francesca Poeta and Simone Barli have also joined the association’s executive committee.
The appointment of Federica Maggiani, president of the La Spezia chapter for two terms, affirms the role of Spezzino and the rest of Liguria in the marine industry.
“From large construction sites to the range of SMEs that operate with them, to port boating as a growing element and also tourism,” said Federica.
Great achievement
“There are many topics that I will bring to the attention of the national comparison tables to give the sector due consideration and to the small businesses that determine its growth fair relief.”
She added: “Liguria, with 2,901 nautical licenses issued in 2024, confirms its leadership position; its numbers alone are close to those of Tuscany and Lazio combined.
“Another significant podium, both numerically and nationally, concerns berths: 25,093 in 2024, of which 7,705 are in the La Spezia area.”
President of CNA La Spezia, Davide Mazzola, added: “A great achievement for the CNA and for our territory, and a guarantee for the nautical industry of a capable voice of representation at national level.”
